Battle River Shock is a midget football club based out of Camrose, Alberta. We are a proud member of the CDMFA (Capital District Minor Football Association). The majority of our practices are held in Lacombe, Alberta. Our team is not meant to replace the fall programs, rather we’re here to compliment them. Our goal is to develop young football athletes in Central Alberta.
Our team is made up of athletes currently in grades 9 to 11 from the Battle River School District and beyond. We welcome those who live along the Battle River i.e.: from communities such as Rocky Mountain House, Sylvan Lake, Pigeon Lake, Wetaskiwin, Blackfalds, Maskwacis, Lacombe, Ponoka, Gwynne, Leduc, Hay Lakes, Camrose, Round Hill, Halkirk, Stettler, Bawlf, New Norway, Viking, Sedgewick, and Red Deer.

2024 BATTLE RIVER SHOCK COMBINE
The 2024 Battle River Shock Combine will be held on Sunday, January 28th, 2024 at The Dome in Red Deer, AB. The session will run from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Athletes are required to fill out all forms and register online before the session. Athletes must bring cleats, indoor runners, water, and appropriate athletic attire.
This is a non-contact event, we ask that athletes refrain from bringing their pads or helmets.

Tier 1 Final:Battle River Shock vs Lloydminster Red Dogs
Come out and support our athletes on Saturday May 11th – 6 pm start at Emerald Hills Sport Pavilion (4501 Emerald Dr, Sherwood Park) as they battle the Lloydminster Red Dogs for 1st place!
We will be kicking off the action at 4 pm with a tailgate party …ALL Are Welcome!
